I haven't posted in a little while so here is just a quick update on what we've been doing lately.
Jordan
Jordan is doing a lot better since his surgery. Most of his swelling has gone down and he feels great. He's still adjusting to his bite and face. He still has braces and will probably have to wear them a few more months to get his bite just right. There are still a lot of things that he has trouble eating. He still can't chew 100 percent but he's getting there. The surgeon said it could take up to a year for all of the swelling to go down in his face.
Jordan has been looking for a new job. He wants to stay in government there just aren't a ton of openings so hopefully he'll get something soon. He really likes his job and the people he works with there just isn't a lot of room for advancement.
Jordan is an awesome dad and he reads to the boys every single night. They don't even want me to they always want Jordan. He is awesome and watches the kids while I'm at work. He always gets up with the kids during the night and when they wake up in the morning. Link most of the time in the morning will ask for Jordan first thing in the morning.
Karen
Not that much is going on with me just work and hanging out with family. I got another job working at Center for Change PRN. I like it there just aren't a ton or hours for me yet. It's been hard working 2 jobs. I just cut down at Heritage to 1 day a week so that will be nice to be home with my kiddos a little more. It's been hard doing 2 shifts a week at Heritage and trying to pick up at CFC. That's really pretty much all that I've been doing lately. I'm really excited for the weather to get warmer so I can start hiking and spending time outside again. Being stuck inside all the time with a 3 1/2 year old and 2 year old is really hard.
Jackson
Jacks is a little over 3 1/2 now. I seriously don't know where time has gone. He is getting so big. He's turning into a really social kid. He loves playing with other kids. He calls his cousins his friends. He has a few friends he likes to play with. Everywhere we go Jacks tries to make friends. We went to the park the other day and he started playing with a little boy like they were best friends. He is not shy at all. I seriously don't know where he gets it from.
Jacks goes to preschool now and he loves it! He learns so much and he loves being around other kids and making friends. His best friend is in his preschool class. He loves his teachers and I'm always impressed with how much he is learning. He is learning letters and songs. He still struggles with his numbers and has a really hard time counting. He's getting better though. He loves show and tell. He gets really excited to show things off to his friends. He does really cute little projects in school.
In January Jacks started going to sunbeams. He hates it! Jordan and I are really surprised because he loves kids and preschool so much we thought he's love it. He never had problems going to nursery by himself so I'm really surprised sunbeams is different. Jordan has had to sit with him in singing time every week so far this year. His teachers have told us he's great in class he just hates sharing time. He enjoys it if Jordan is there I think he just gets scared and overwhelmed with all the other kids in there.I feel so bad leaving the poor kid there so sad. I'm just hoping he'll adjust and get used to it soon.
Jacks really loves skylanders right now. He is obsessed with the game. I have to set timers to limit his playing time or he would seriously play all day if I'd let him. He loves it. Jacks really loves Scooby Doo and the 7D.

Lincoln
Link will be 2 at the end of this month. He is still so little. He talks like crazy! He talks way better than Jacks did at this age and I think better than most kids his age. He speaks in sentences it's so crazy. He is really smart. He always tries to do what Jackson does. He really wants to be like his big brother. Jackson has been potty trained for about 7 months and lately Link has been trying to go on the toilet because Jackson does. He loves Jackson. They are getting better at playing together. They still fight like crazy but on occasion they will disappear into one of their rooms together and just play.
Link is really independent he doesn't have to have someone to play with him or watch him. He's perfectly happy playing in his room by himself a lot. He loves to play with tools. He never sits still he doesn't really like movies very much. He'll watch Mr. Peabody and Sherman and Winnie the Pooh a little bit but never the whole movie. He hates shopping. He refuses to sit in the cart. I hate taking him to the store it's impossible to take him by myself because he just tries to run. Church is also really hard with him. Jordan or I usually just end up in the hall with him because he refuses to sit for sacrament meeting. He loves nursery though. I'm in nursery with him right now and he's kind of a little stinker. Every time the singing lady comes he just screams treat at her because she usually has treats. He climbs on everything! He climbs on all the chairs and tables. We can't even eat without him climbing on the table. He likes to jump off of things. It's scary he's seriously going to break his leg. He jumps down the stairs and jumps off the ladder of his bunk bed and pretty much everything else. He thinks it's hilarious to jump.
Link loves to be outside. He asks me to take him to the park every day. He loves Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove. He tells me first thing in the morning "Castle Park?" He is funny he doesn't forget things and he knows exactly what he wants.
