My cute little Bubba Boo is almost 11 months! It's so crazy how fast time has gone. I feel like he is huge! He has grown so much in the past month and a half since my last blog post. He is crawling everywhere now. Around 9 1/2 months he finally stopped scooting and started only crawling. He goes everywhere! He stands up on things really well now. He's so good at pulling himself up to a standing position and he's starting to stand on his own for a couple of seconds.
I'm ready for the cute little guy to start walking! He's starting to stand a little and he'll walk a little bit if I hold his hands and walk with him but he doesn't really like to he mostly wants to crawl. He absolutely loves it outside. I want him to start walking though because he crawls around in the dirt and gets filthy and he's putting holes in all of his socks by crawling on the cement. He always wants to be outside. He crawls to our back door and starts hitting it to tell us he wants to go outside. He's always happy when he's outside.
He climbs on everything and is getting into everything. He loves to open all of the cupboards, tv stand, and closets and pull everything out. His favorite thing right now is the dishwasher he loves to pull knives out and play with them so it's impossible to do dishes when he's awake. He still loves to crawl up the stairs but hasn't quite figured out how to go down yet. He's so curious about everything.
Harris loves people. He's so friendly and is always smiling at everyone. Taking him to church is kind of hard right now because he just crawls around and tries to get into other people's bags. He's so cute though and always smiling and talking to everyone that he sees at church so it kind of makes up for the fact that he's kind of a monster.
Harris has cut so many teeth in the past month and a half. At 9 months he only had 2 little teeth on the bottom. Now he has 4 on the bottom 3 on top and the another one on top that is probably going to cut in the next day or two. It's been kind of a rough month for the poor kid cutting all of those teeth.
Bubs is starting to make a lot of different sounds. He can say hi and mamama and dadadada and just tons of other cute little baby sounds. He loves to squeal. He likes patty cake and peek a boo. He waves and claps all the time.
He's getting a little better at night. He's just cut so many teeth lately that it's hard for him to sleep through the night so he doesn't really have a great schedule. Some nights he sleeps through the night some nights he's up anywhere from 1-3 times it really just depends on the night. He is getting a lot better about going to sleep on his own though which is good.
Bubba is such a big eater he absolutely loves real food. He is such a good eater and will eat most things the only thing he really doesn't like are strawberries. He's learned how to drink out of sippy cup and he loves water but hates cows milk.
Bubs is so funny he really knows what he wants now and he cries if he doesn't get it. He loves to ride things now. He loves his brother's plasma cars, bouncing on his little horse, and he's obsessed with my parent's power wheel. He is so funny he just has the cutest little personality. He is a really happy kid. He's so pleasant most of the time even when he isn't sleeping. The only time he really gets grumpy is when he's cutting teeth. We went to Moab and he was so so good for the whole trip even t though it was rainy and cold and probably pretty miserable for him. He's just a sweet happy boy and we're so lucky to have him.
