Summer

I can't believe summer is almost over.  This summer has been so crazy busy.  We've had so much fun family stuff going on this summer.  

Jordan's grandpa had a birthday party with all of his extended family. 

We spent lots of fun time with cousins.

We spent lots of time outside.  We bought a new play set and my kids love.  We always have half the neighborhood at our house playing.

We had our first stitches!  The day before Jackson's birthday he was walking up my neighbor's porch and he tripped and fell into their flower pot and split his head clear down to the bone.  I was at a young women's activity and Jordan called me to come home so I took him straight to the after hours pediatrician.  It was so deep they had to stitch it in 2 layers.  3 stitches deep down and 7 stitches on top.  He had them taken out a  few days later.  It's definitely going to scar. He was so good the whole time he was getting stitches.  He just laid still and talked to me the whole time.

The day after the stitches incident was Jackson's birthday.  We were planning on going swimming for his birthday but he couldn't get his stitches wet so we ended up going to nickelmania instead. We had cake and ice cream for his birthday at my parents that night.  Later in the week we went with Jordan's families to captain underpants for his birthday party.  The next week we had a birthday party with all the neighborhood kids.  We had a pokemon party.  Jackson had a lot of fun with all of his friends.  

For the 4th of July we went to my parent's house and had a BBQ.  It was a fun day.  We just had dinner and then watched fireworks.  Harrison and Link were both so tired.  Harrison just laid with me on the grass and almost fell asleep.

We had swimming lessons for a couple of weeks.  Jackson and  Link loved it!  Harrison hate it though it was so hard chasing him around.

 Sean and Britney both came into town for the same 2 weeks in July.  It was a crazy 2 weeks.  We were so busy and had a lot of fun.  During that same 2 weeks I went to girls camp for the day.

We went to the Uintas with my family.  We got there a lot earlier than everyone else so we played at the waterfall for a really long time.  We went to Mirror Lake and walked around the lake.  It was actually really cold and rainy but it was still a fun day.

We went to deer creek with my family and rode wave runners. Jackson and Link actually really liked the wave runners.  The water was really really rough that day but they still did really good and liked riding.  Harris is to little to ride and he was just tired and grumpy. 

Jordan's family always does a lot  of fun things for the 24th of July.  We went to the parade in the morning then went to his parent's house to swim during the day.  Then at night we went to his brother's house and watched fireworks at the park near his house.  

My boys have had so much fun this summer.  They play with their neighbor friends everyday.  We really like our neighborhood and that our kids have so many friends around.  I don't know what we'd do if we didn't have so many good kids for them to play with.
