April

We're still stuck in quarantine.  We had a couple of weeks were we were about to lose it.  Link has struggled the most with this quarantine.  He's really struggling with motivation to do his online school work.  His teachers have been giving him more work than Jackson so he has a hard time when Jackson finishes before he does.  Jackson has been doing pretty good.  He kind of likes being stuck at home because he's a huge home body anyway and he gets to play a lot of video games which is his dream come true but he does miss his friends.  Harrison is doing okay.  It depends on the day with him.  Link and Harrison drive each other absolutely nuts.
During our 2 week breakdown Link convinced me to buy a hamster.  He loves his hamster.  Jackson and Harrison don't really care about it at all.  Link named her Macee.  Hamsters are nocturnal so there isn't a ton of time he gets to spend with his little hamster.  He gets so excited for her to wake up and play with him.

We've been trying to spend a lot of time outside.  We went to Topaz Mountain a couple of weeks ago.  It was a long drive out there but Link really wanted to go so went out for the day.  Jordan and I didn't like it at all.  You sit in the sun and hit rocks with a hammer and don't really find anything impressive we only found small pieces of topaz.  My boys really liked it.  They liked that they were actually allowed to play with hammers and chisels. There were so many people there it was crazy!

We found a really fun hike around Fountain Green called box canyon.  My kids and Jordan love rock climbing and they had so much fun at this place because the walls were really easy to climb.  There were some really cool place and we had to climb over some giant boulders on the trail and there was a waterfall at the end.  It was a really fun little day trip.

We haven't been up to anything at all other than a few random outings.  Harrison has finally starting doing better with potty training.  He still needs a pull up at night but he still has a few accidents but he's doing pretty good.  He learned to ride a bike without training wheels.  He has had a balance bike for a while so he already had good balance so he took off without training wheels pretty quickly.

Being stuck at home has been getting a little easier now that the weather is warm.  Since the state has started opening things up a little more I've been letting my kids start playing with their neighbor friends as long as they don't get to close and stay outside which has helped so much.  Link has been so much happier since I started letting him play with his neighbor friends.
