Mesquite

Over Martin Luther King Day weekend we went to Mesquite with some friends.  Jordan's coworker owns a house in Mesquite and let us stay there.  It was such nice weather and it was so nice to get away from the cold in Utah Country.  We went to down on Thursday night our neighbors didn't come until Friday afternoon so we went on a hiking adventure ourselves in the morning on Friday.  We went to Gold Butte National Monument.  We went to a place called Little Finland and hiked around.  It was a dirt road all the way there that was pretty rough.  Little Finland was so beautiful.  Jackson and Lincoln had fun hiking around.  Harrison was so grumpy from staying up late the night before.  He was so grumpy and miserable the first day we were there.  We drove around and saw a few more things in Gold Butte.  It was fun but not really worth all the driving on dirt roads.

We went back to the house and just chilled and played games with our neighbors.  It was a lot of fun just hanging out.  The next day we went to Valley of Fire.  It so beautiful and the kids had so much fun just climbing around on rocks.  The kids had so much fun playing with their friends and rock climbing together.

That night we went back to the house got pizza and just played games.  The next day we went home. It was such a fun weekend get away.  I seriously needed it so much.  Winter is seriously the worst with 3 boys.  It was so fun to get out and enjoy 65 degrees.
