Jacks
Jacks finishes preschool this week for the rest of the summer.  I think he'll miss it a lot.  He's such a social kid and he'll miss his friend's a lot.  Entertaining him this summer might be kind of hard.  He needs social interaction.  I might have to stop being antisocial and arrange some play dates for him this summer.
Jackson is the sweetest brother.  We had one of his friends from school over to play and he was so sweet and included Link the whole time.  Jacks and his friend ran down stairs and came back up and said "We need Link. Come play"  He shares with his brother and defends him.  I never worry about Link getting bullied if Jacks is around because Jacks would flatten any kid that even tried to hurt his brother.  He hates it when Link is punished I put Link in his room and Jacks cries more than Link does.  It's really sweet.

Sweet hug that ended up looking more like a choke hold

Jackson loves legos right now.

Link
Link has started to stutter a little bit.  It is really upsetting me!  He stutters over I's a lot he'll say "I-I-I-I-I want..." He occasionally stutters over other words but that is the most common.  It is so weird he was speaking perfectly.  He started talking really early and always spoke really well but suddenly a couple weeks ago he started to stutter.  It makes me so sad I'm just hoping that he grows out of it.
Link is so sweet.  He loves Jackson so much.  We ask him "Who's your best friend?" and ask him if it's a random person Link says "No!  Jackson's my best friend!"  Jackson is his best buddy they play together so cute.
I think Link is going to stop taking naps soon.  He still gets really tired if he doesn't take one but if he takes one he doesn't want to go to bed at night.  I have to take him for rides a lot to get him to sleep.

Jacks got sick and Link was sad.  He kept hugging him telling to get up and play.  It was really sad.  He missed his brother.

Bed time lately has been kind of a nightmare.  They hate going to bed and always try to earn extra time before bed.  We fight them to stay in their rooms.  We've been trying to move the boys into the same room.  Link always starts out in Jackson's room and then after about the 5th time he comes out of his room we put him in his crib and then he screams for  a while before going to sleep.  The boys have been getting scared lately and I think it would help them sleep better if they were in the same room.  They have so much fun together.  They try to sleep in the same bed which obviously never works they just end up playing together.  It's so frustrating that they just won't go to bed but it's also really sweet that they love each other so much and are best friends.

Nothing is really new with me and Jordan.  Just work and trying to keep the kids entertained with all this rain we've been having lately.

Random stuff we've been doing lately:

 Dressing up like super heroes
We had a Friday drive in movie night.  We rented Big Hero 6 and decorated little storage containers like cars.  The boys loved it they sat in their little cars for almost the whole movie and ate their popcorn and snacks.

Trip to Cabela's.  We didn't buy anything we just looked around.  The boys really liked the fish and the animals.

There is a really nice river bottoms trail in SF.  We took the boys for a little walk and they loved it.  They love being outside and throwing rocks and sticks off the bridges along the trail.

We hiked the Grotto.  The weather was clear in SF but when we got up Payson canyon it was raining pretty bad.  It started to clear up a tiny bit so we decided just to hike in the rain.  The trail was really wet and muddy.  The had a lot fun even in the mud they sang "Mud hiking" the whole time.  Jacks had a couple slips and got pretty muddy but it was still fun.

Memorial day weekend landed on Jordan's Friday off so he got a 4 day weekend which was so nice.  I had to work Friday and Monday so we just stuck around SF, made our visits to the cemetery and just hung out at home.

I Love to See the Temple

We recently had the opportunity to go to the Payson Temple open house.  We're so excited to have a temple this close to our house.  The temple is beautiful and we loved walking through it. My boys were actually really good as we went through.  There is a 10 minute video you watch before you go through the boys struggled through that but they were really good walking in the temple, they were so reverent.  We had  a couple fhe's about the temple and how you act while in the temple before we went and that really helped especially for Jacks.
Even though it isn't dedicated yet there was a special spirit in the temple and I think the boys felt it. I was so worried about taking my kids I thought they'd just try to run but they were so sweet.  It was so fun to see the look on my boys faces as we walked through. We've been to a lot of other temples with my kids but they've obviously never been able to go inside and they don't really understand why.  They've always wanted to go inside so bad and I think it was really special to take them through together as a family.  Jordan had to take time off work and we had to go pretty early but it was totally worth it.  We're so happy to get a new temple near us and that we had the opportunity to go see it as a family.
Jordan has the opportunity to go volunteer there tomorrow helping with volunteer parking.  We saw Jordan's dad and a lot of other people we knew volunteering the day we went through.  I'm so happy we get the opportunity to visit and volunteer in such a special place. We're excited for the dedication and the chance we'll have to go to our new temple.
