January/February Photo Dump

January and February are the worst months of the year.  We really didn't do anything fun because it was just to cold and we got some snow so we pretty much just hung out at home.  

These 2 are so sweet.  Bubba snuggles Link in his bed every night and always wants to sleep in there with him.  It's really sweet.

Jackson's valentines box.  He was so proud of it.

Jackson's friend showed up at our house a couple of weeks ago on a horse and asked Jackson if he wanted a ride.  They rode up and down our street a couple of times.  Link even got to ride.  They thought it was a lot of fun.  

Link's Birthday

Link just turned 5!  He was so excited for his birthday this year.  I told him that he should stop growing up and just stay 4 forever but he didn't like that idea.  He told me he has to grow up because there are "certain rides at Disneyland that he wants to ride" so he needs to grow up.  He's a silly kid.  For his birthday we kind of simplified things.   Usually we have big parties with the whole neighborhood and then parties with both of our families.  We just did something simple this year and we had 2 of his cousins and 2 friends came over for a sleep over.  We had pizza and ate cake and then the kids just played and watched a movie then went to bed.  His friends left at bedtime but his cousins stayed the whole night.  They did pretty good they were asleep by 10:30.  Link had a lot of fun.
His birthday was on a Sunday so we just went to my parents house for dinner and had cake for his birthday.  My grandma came and it was a fun little party. 

On his birthday he really wanted pancakes for dinner.  He was so funny because he specifically wanted 3 pancakes stacked with a candle in them.
