Harrison 4 Months

Harrison is 4 months!  He's getting so big and he's so stinking cute I'm kind of obsessed with him.  I've started him on baby food and he loves it.  He loves sweet potatoes, peas, peaches, pears, apples, squash, and baby cereal.  He hates green beans.  He's growing so fast and he's just tall and skinny.  He's 13 pounds 1 ounce in the 5th percentile, in the 67 percentile for height, and 15th for head size.  He's build just like Link and Jordan.  Just super tall and skinny.  He's still wearing 3-6 month cloths but they're getting a little short on him and probably needs to go to the next size up really soon.  He's getting a little better at night.  He's usually only up twice now.  He still won't sleep in his bed but we're working on it.  He's the sweetest little guy and he smiles all the time.

At the beginning of July at 3 months he started rolling off his stomach onto his back.  He doesn't do it really consistently because I'm not as good at making him do tummy time as I should.  He has done it a few times though.  He just hates doing tummy time and Link usually rolls him onto his back anyway.

Harrison loves to put everything in his mouth right now.  He constantly sucks on his thumbs, hands, and feet.  He immediately puts toys in his mouth as soon as he gets them.  He loves toys.

His Mickey Taggie is his favorite toy right now.

His cousin is a month to the day older and so much bigger.  Harrison is just so tiny.

Harrison and Link love each other so much.  They really have  a special bond.  Link is so sweet him and always talks to him and brings him toys.  Harrison always smiles at him and reaches for him.  They are so sweet together.  Every morning Link wants to lay on the couch with Harrison and cuddle him under blankets.  They're so sweet together.  Lincoln wants to hold him all the time.

Beatin' the Heat

The last couple of months have been so busy.  It's been so hot and I'm not really a fan.  We've been trying to stay busy and cool off as much as possible.  I've been doing a lot of swimming, my boys love it but it's kind of hard with a little baby.  Harrison is 4 months now and he's still so little that I don't like to have him the heat for to long and he can't wear sunscreen yet so he can't really be out in the sun for very long.

A quick update on the boys: Jacks is getting huge he just started little kickers soccer which he absolutely loves.  I think soccer might be that kids sport.  He loves it and he's actually pretty good.  He did tball at the beginning of the summer and didn't really like it so I'm glad we found a sport that he enjoys.

Link is finally potty trained!!!!  It was seriously a battle.  It took so long to potty train him he is almost 3 1/2 and he just barely did it.  He's so stubborn.  He has had a couple accidents at night but other than that he's potty trained even through the night.  It is about time!!!  It really just came down to him wanting to do it.

Harrison is doing great and getting so big!  He can roll over off his stomach.  He's still a horrible sleeper but he's cute enough that he can get away with it.  He's been sick lately and that's definitely effecting his sleep.

We took the boys bowling for the first time this summer.  They really liked it for about one game then got bored.  It was fun though they actually did pretty well.
We spent lots of time just hanging out inside and made a few trips to the park.  My boys played with the neighbors just about everyday and we spent a lot time with Jordan's family.

Mt sister took them to build a bear for the first.  Jacks built an Iron Man bear with a Spiderman costume and Link built a plain brown one with a spiderman costume.

For my birthday my parents watched my kids while Jordan and I went out.  The boys decorated a cake and cupcakes for me with way to much candy and it was really fun.  June is a really busy month for birthdays in our family.

Cousin's Star Wars birthday part.
We went and walked on the dripping rock trail and then let the boys play in the river.  They had so much fun and got pretty soaked.

For Jackson's birthday we bought him a couple of little kayaks.  They're so much fun and the boys really enjoy them.  We've taken them to the Spanish Fork reservoir a few times with friends and family.  Jacks is starting to learn to paddle by himself but he still can't quite take it out by himself. Link really enjoys going out with Jordan and I.

On the 4th of July we went to the reservoir with some friends in the morning and then went to my parents house for dinner and fireworks.

Link loves to swim

He told me "I love fire!"  Just a little concerning

South Fork

We went to Yuba Lake with Jordan's family.  We had so much fun boating and swimming.  It was kind of hard with Harrison.  It was really windy the day we went and Harrison can't be out in the sun so it kind of complicated things a little.  Jordan and I just took turns sitting in the back of our van with him.  He actually slept for most of the day which was nice.

Worst family picture ever but it's about the best we get lately.

Reservoir with Jordan's family

The 24th of July is always a really fun holiday.  Spanish Fork does Fiesta Days for the 24th and Jordan's family always does a lot of really fun things.  This year Jacks and Link did the fish rodeo, which is basically just a big pool where the kids catch a fish with their hands or with a net.  The boys were a little young for it this year but they had fun.  There were some really nice volunteers that helped my boys catch some fish.  After the fish rodeo we went to the Children's Carnival and played some of the games.  The boys had fun but it was kind of crazy there were so many people.

We went to the rodeo with Jordan's family.  The boys were so much better this year.  Last year was kind of a nightmare Link just ran the whole time.  They were a lot better this year.  We took Harrison with us and he was so good.

On the 25 we went to the Spanish Fork Parade.  Link was really grumpy for some reason and did not have fun at all.  I think he was just really tired but he was just kind of a grump.  Jacks had fun with his cousins.  After the parade we went to Jordan's parent's house and swam.  Link was so tired and just kind of  grumpy.  Jordan had to sell tickets at the rodeo so we had to leave  a little early.  I was planning on taking Link for  a ride to get him to sleep but when Jordan went to leave for work his car wouldn't start so he had to take my van.  I couldn't take Link for a ride which is the only way that he goes to sleep so he was just really really grumpy.  That night we went to Jordan's sister's for fireworks.  The fireworks were great and it was really fun but my kids were both so grumpy.  We were planning on going to watch the city fireworks but my kids were just way to tired so we just went home and put them to bed.  It was a really fun day.  My boys had so much fun.  They always love spending time with their cousins.

Our family pictures lately are just a joke I couldn't even get Link to turn around for it.

We made a trip up to the Uintas!  I haven't been up to the Uintas in a few years and it was really fun to go up there.  I grew up going there with my family and my grandparents.  It's one of my favorite things we did as a kid and it was so fun to take my kids up there.  They were kind of sick and it was kind of hard on them.  They did have some fun though.  We went to the fairy forest which the boys loved.  The fairy forest was so fun it's just a little spot in the trees where people have left little fairy houses and painted rocks.  The boys really enjoyed it.  I'm hoping that we can make it up there again before the summer is over and take our own little fairy houses to put there.  They really liked it a lot.  After the fairy forest we stopped at a waterfall up there for a while and played in the water.  The boys love playing in water so they had fun.  Then we went up to Mirror lake and walked around the lake for a while.  It rained and it was actually freezing!  It was a nice break from the heat though.

Another family picture that Link isn't looking at the camera.  He was actually attacking Jackson trying to bite him.

Jordan's mom had a sleep over for all the grandkids.  She did a girls sleepover then a boys sleep over.  The little kids had a little play date and they all had a lot of fun.  It was Jacks first sleep over.  I thought he'd get nervous but he had  a lot of fun.  He loves his cousins and he had so much fun.
