July 24

The 24th of July is always a fun day.  Jordan's family always has a fun party and get an inflatable water slide.  This year was a little weird this year.  We usually go to the parade and the rodeo but we didn't this year because of COVID.  We just hung out at Jordan's mom's house and did the water slide and at and had snow cones.  The kids loved the water slide so much this year we went back the next day they did the water slide all day the next day.  I really didn't take very many pictures so the kids look a little grumpy in the few I took but they did have a ton of fun.

Capitol Reef

We went to Capitol Reef for one night in June.  The boys had a ton of fun swimming at the pool.   The pool was their favorite part of the entire trip.  We hiked to Cassidy Arch which was beautiful but it was long and kind of hot so the boys were wiped after so that was the only hike we did.  We went back to the pool and just hung out for a while.  We just drove in the park and went to some view points.  The next day we went on a guided side by side tour.  It was so beautiful and the boys really liked it.

Camping

We took the boys camping in the Uintas this summer.  We had planned to stay 2 nights but there was a fire up there and there were a ton of planes and helicopters flying around so we knew we wouldn't get any sleep that night and I was a little nervous that the fire could shift towards us.  We just pulled off on a dirt road and set up our tent.  It was a lot of fun.  We just fished mostly and did a little hiking.  We hiked to Ruth's Lake to fish and spent a lot of time at Trial Lake.  We never caught anything which drove Link crazy but we still had a lot of fun.  The boys loved the camp fire and sleeping in a tent.  Bubba's favorite thing was peeing on the camp fire to try and put it out.

We played in the river near a waterfall for a while.  The kids got soaked and had a lot of fun.
