School

School started a couple of weeks ago for Jackson.  Jackson seems to be doing so much better this school year.  His teacher last year was a huge jerk and he really had a hard time.  His teacher this year seems a lot better so I'm really hoping he'll have a better school year.  He had a lot of friends in his class last year and  none of them are in his class this year.  He says he doesn't have any friends in his class yet.  When I drop Link off I see him going back to class from lunch and he seems kind of sad sometimes so I'm a little worried about him.
Link started kindergarten last week and he really likes it so far.  He goes in the afternoons so it's kind of hard to get him to go because he just wants to play all day but once he's there he really enjoys it.  He's already made a new friend in his class.
Both boys are playing soccer this season.  Jackson has been trying harder than in past seasons and he's doing really well.  Link does awesome but he's a little nervous at some of his games.  They are doing awesome so far.  We just have soccer games Tue-Fri which is kind of hard.  Harrison likes going to their games but he wants to play when the coach subs them in he'll yell "It's my turn!!"  He just thinks he's as big as his brothers.

Family Pictures

While Jordan's sister was in town we had some family pictures taken.  They didn't turn out quite as cute as I'd hoped.  My boys were really good they just kind of had some awkward smiles and my hair wasn't looking the best.  Harrison kind of just wanted to run away the whole time but we ended getting some really cute pictures of him. 

Summer 2018

Summer is officially over for us, Jackson starts school today.  He is so sad about starting school.  He had a really mean teacher last year so I think he's a little stressed about going to school.  He says that it's too hard.  We went to his school and met his teacher today and seemed really nice I'm really hoping that his year will be better for him.  Link starts kindergarten in a week and he's so excited. 
Poor Harrison is going to be sad with both his brothers in school.  I told him we were going to meet his brothers teacher and he told me "I meet Bubba's teacher too."  He thought that he was going to go too. 
I'm kind of sad that summer is over but I'm really excited that it's finally starting to cool down a little.  Fall is my favorite season and we always have a lot of fun.  We did a lot of fun things this summer.

 We hiked Timpanogoes cave this year with Jordan's brother and his family.  I had never done it before and it was a lot of fun.  We didn't take Harrison because the hike up there is pretty dangerous for little kids like him.  Jackson and Link did awesome and it was a pretty steep long hike.  Jackson loved the inside of the cave but Link got bored about half way through and kind of acted like a stinker.

We have some neighbors that love to fish and so Link decided that he wanted to learn to fish this year.  My dad took us fishing a couple of times and Link really enjoyed it.  Jackson got bored pretty quick  but Link and Bubba were pretty good.  Harrison liked swinging his pole around.  They were really cute.  We went one afternoon to the pond at a park in spanish fork and didn't catch anything.  We went to the Uintas a few weeks later which was way more fun than the crappy pond.  We caught 2 fish and it was a lot of fun.  

Jackson turned 7 this summer.  For his birthday I took him shopping and then to get ice cream.  The boys were doing swimming lessons so we went to that then went to a movie with all of their cousins.

 Mike and Claudia bought my boys matching outfits in Brazil and they love them Harrison gets really excited every time he puts his on and says "Michael and Claudia"

We spent a lot of time at the pool this summer.  Harrison loved swimming this year.  He would not get out of the water pool checks were like torture for him and he was always the one that didn't want to leave when it was time to go home.  He was so cute in his little puddle jumper floating around.

 Donut Falls: This trail was so busy!  And it really looked nothing like the pictures I'd found online but it was fun.  Harrison thought he needed to walk in the water but Link didn't want to so that super fun trying to deal with both of them.

 On the fourth of July we went to my parents house for dinner and fireworks.  My cousin came with her family and my kids had so much fun playing with her boys. 

The young women in our ward went on a packpacking trip up to the Uintas for one night.  I had to go and since we needed priesthood leaders I dragged Jordan along.  We were trying to go to Ibantik lake but we took the wrong trail and ended up going to random lake.  It was still fun even though we got  a little lost.  We took hammocks to sleep in which was a mistake because it was seriously freezing.  I don't think anyone got more than 3 hours of sleep the entire night.  It was really fun to be under the stars and wake up to beautiful lake though.

We went to Bear Lake for a day.  My extended family always goes up for a week and camps.  We had stuff at home and work we couldn't miss so we just drove up for a day.  My boys loved it.  A lot of my cousins were there and my kids had so much fun playing with their kids.  They were so sad that we didn't get to spend the night.  

We always do a lot of fun things around the 24th of July.  Jordan's sister came from Arizona so we had a lot of cousin time and my boys were in heaven.  On the 24th we went to the parade and then did a water slide and watched fireworks at night.  My boys had so much fun with their cousins.

Jordan is kind of obsessed with rock climbing right now.  We've gone a couple times and we took our kids with us once.  My boys did so good.  They climbed clear to the top a bunch of times.  They didn't really get scared they did awesome.  Harrison even liked it.  He was so cute he couldn't climb very well but he really liked being lowered down. 

Pretty much sums up Link's mood lately

 We went to the Hill Air force Base Museum with my parents.  My boys liked it.  Harrison got so excited when we got there yelling "Airplane!  What does that do?"

We found Halloween costumes at Costco and Harrison is so excited to be Jack Jack.  He loves the incredibles right now.  He wore his costume around for 2 days and refused to take it off.
