When Jordan got out of his conference we went to the temple and walked around the grounds. My boys loved running around and collecting little nuts that fell from the trees. Bubba was so cute at the temple. He really wanted to see the Jesus statue. Jackson and Link refused to go inside and see the statue so Jordan stayed outside with them and I took Bubba inside. The missionaries came over and talked to us and played the recording. They came and talked to us and let Harrison touch the statue. We talked to him about the holes in his hands and feet and he was really sweet. I asked him what he heard from the recording and he said "Jesus loves me." Then I asked him if he loved Jesus and he said "Yes he's my best friend." It was so sweet! One of the missionaries looked like she was going to cry. It was really sweet. He's such a good sweet little boy.
After we walked around the temple we went to the red hills desert garden. It was dark but they had it lit pretty well so it was really fun. There were frogs in the little river and it was really cool to listen to them and try to find where they were hiding.

| Cannonballs into the pool! Jackson is really getting good at swimming! He swam in water over his head a ton and swam across the entire pool. He did such an awesome job. |
Our second day in St George I took the boys to the Red Cliffs Recreation Area in the morning. We hiked to see the dinosaur tracks. Jacks did not want to hike and he was honestly just a grump. After walking around a little bit we went to lunch then went to visit my cousin Kara. She has a pool so my boys swam for a couple of hours in her pool. I didn't take any pictures sadly of them at her house. They loved her pool and she was really sweet and she got in the water with them and she and BJ taught Jackson how to swim which helped him so much he's becoming a really good swimmer. We hung out with Kara for a few hours then went back to the hotel.
After Jordan got back we went to dinner and then Snow Canyon to hike a little bit. We did the Jenny's Canyon trail, a little bit of the Hidden Pinyon, and the sand dunes. The boys loved the sand dunes. Harrison absolutely loved it he loved to play in the sand they all loved running down the hills together holding hands. We wanted to do the petrified dunes trail but there was an accident so we couldn't get up the road to it. It was a really fun night.

The next day I took the boys to the Children's Museum in the morning. They've started charging for it and it honestly wasn't that fun this time for some reason. I think my older boys are starting to get a little to old for it and we've been a few times so it just wasn't that exciting. Harrison was really tired and he was kind of weird and got scared of the dinosaurs and just didn't have that much fun because he was so tired.
Jordan had a short day at his conference so when he got out we went to Zion. Zion is so busy and just crazy with the shuttle and all the people. It had rained a ton so a lot of the trails were closed because they washed out or had mudslides and the narrows were closed because the river was really full which made me a little nervous with the kids. We did the emerald pools trail; only the lower pool was open because there had a mud slide that washed the trail out. It was a little disappointing a lot of the trails I wanted to hike were closed. We did the Riverside walk down to where you'd get in the river for the narrows. It started raining on us on our way back and our kids were just done hiking so we went back to the hotel and swam some more. The kids just loved swimming it's all they wanted to do.

The next day we checked out of our hotel and started driving home. We drove through Kolob Canyon on our way home. We did a little mile hike at the end of the canyon that was really pretty. We'd never been to Kolob Canyon before and it was beautiful. It was totally worth the extra time to drive through. The hike we did at the end of easy and short but our kids were just so tired and kind of done so they were really grumpy the entire time. Harrison was tired and wanted to be carried the whole time and Jackson just whined and freaked out every time he saw a bee. Link was the only one that was actually pleasant on the hike. He said hiking makes him run faster so he was really sweet and cute.
We had so much fun on our trip! Harrison didn't want to go home he kept saying he wanted to go back to the hotel. My boys are finally old enough that they travel pretty well. The only issue we had was sleeping we didn't have enough beds in the hotel and didn't take a mat for the floor so we were trying to cram 3 of us into one bed. Harrison just has a hard time sleeping away from his bed so he got up every single night at least once in the middle of the night. We had a couple days that they woke up way to early and stayed up way to late at night. So we were all a little tired the entire time but for the most part even without sleep they were really sweet and pleasant and we had a really good time. We kind of had a hard time coming back to real life though. Getting the kids to school today was a little rough. We're all just ready for summer to start. I'm really excited for my boys to be done with school so we can just hang out all the time and have fun.
