Jacks
Jacks is doing great in school. He's still a little behind but he's made a lot of progress. We went to his SEP the other day and his teacher said he's doing great. He's getting so much better at writing his name. He can consistently write Jacks now. We're still working on his whole name but it's a huge improvement from the beginning of the year when he couldn't even write his name at all. His handwriting is getting a lot better. He has handwriting practice twice a week for homework and I've seen a lot of improvement.
Jacks is still doing speech. They've been working on the letter L with him. He is actually getting so much better! He can consistently say his L's when we sit and practice. It's still not consistently in his speech but he has started to say things better. He can actually say Lincoln now instead of Wincoln. When he's focusing on his speech he says it correctly. Hopefully soon he'll just say it correctly without even thinking. He's definitely getting better.
Lincoln
The past month Link has been really really hard. He's been getting up at 6:15 every morning and he's just not ready to get up. It's so frustrating he's so tired and grumpy but just can't sleep. He's also been waking up 1-3 times a night and sometime he'll be up for a really long time during the night. It is so frustrating. He's been the grumpiest most miserable person. He's miserable to even be around. He won't take a nap during the day and he's just so mean. We're all so tired from it. He always wakes Jacks and Harrison up in the morning so everyone is tired and grumpy. I don't know what is wrong with him. He's just so tired all the time but just won't sleep. I kind of hate being around him lately but at the same time I just feel so bad for him because he's completely miserable. This whole month has just been so hard for him he's just been so grumpy and miserable. We've done so much fun stuff lately and he just hasn't even enjoyed most of it because he's been so tired. Halloween was such a bad day for him he didn't have any fun at all which makes me so sad because he was so excited for it. I don't know what is wrong with the poor kid but I hope we get it figured out soon.Harrison
Harrison is getting so big, he's 7 months. He is scooting all over the place. He's so busy! He just doesn't stop and I can't leave him alone because he scoots all over and puts everything in his mouth. I pull things out of his mouth at least 6 times a day. It makes me nervous that he's going to choke on something. Jacks and Link and punks and just leave things on the floor all the time for him to choke on.
Harrison started sitting up at around 6 months but now he's getting really good. He sits pretty good without falling. He still tips sometimes but he's getting a lot better. He cut 2 teeth on the bottom this month. I think he has a couple more on the top that are getting close to cutting.
Harris still isn't a very good sleeper. I think teething really messed up his sleep schedule. Some nights he's up every hour and a half. It's frustrating because with Link getting up too I just don't get any sleep and I'm just a grumpy person. Harrison is just so cute that he gets away with it.
Harrison has started making some new sounds. He yells Mamamamama and dadadadada now it's really cute. He has become really cuddly. He put his cute little head on my shoulder when he's tired and just cuddle. He's started reaching for people. If he's sitting on the ground or in his saucer he'll reach his arms up if he wants me to pick him up.
His little personality is starting to show. He's so funny. He really knows what he wants now and if he doesn't get it he cries. It's kind of funny to see him have wants other than food, sleep, and a clean diaper. He loves his brother's toys. He doesn't like his own but he loves Jacks and Link's toys. He loves paper. He chews it up and chokes on it. Jacks is always leaving his school work around and Harris always seems to get a hold of it and ruin it. Paper is definitely his favorite thing right now.
October is my favorite month. We always do so many fall and Halloween activities during October. This year we had a Halloween party with Jordan's family and a Halloween party with my cousins ( I unfortunately didn't get any pictures).

We went to an open house at one of the Orem fire stations. My friend and her little boy went with us and my boys had so much fun. They loved using the fire hose, watching the fire demonstration, and Jacks like Smokey the bear (Link was terrified of him). We went last year and it's always so fun. They hand out popcorn, cotton candy, coloring books, and cute little fire hats.
We made another trip to Jaker's with my friend Amelia and her little boy. My kids had so much fun. We did all the little pumpkin patch activities then the boys ran around chasing birds for a long time and just loved playing with their friend Landon.
In October the Heber Creeper does a pumpkin train themed ride that I was able to get tickets for for half price through KSL deals. The description online made me think that this was a ride on the train and then you got off and there was a little pumpkin patch you got to pick a pumpkin in. Little did I know that pumpkin patch was actually just big boxes full of pumpkins. It was a 40 minute ride then we got take a pumpkin home as part of the admission for it. Even though the "pumpkin patch" was super lame it was actually a lot of fun. Link loved the train. He stuck his head out the window and yelled hi to other kids the whole time. Jacks and Jordan got a little bored for part of the ride. Harrison was so good for the whole thing. We weren't planning on taking Harrison with us but right before we left my sister got in a car accident so my parents couldn't watch him. But he was so good! It was definitely something I would do again. Fall is the only time that I would ride the Heber Creeper they don't have AC or heat so you really have to ride it when the weather is nice. The leaves were really pretty too so the ride was a lot of fun and 40 minutes was the perfect length.
I took my boys to see the witches at Gardner Village. Jacks really liked it Link was not surprising a grump but it was still fun.
Carving pumpkins was so fun this year. Jackson looked on pinterest to find carving ideas and decided he wanted his pumpkin to have a big scary mouth and eat another small pumpkin. He was old enough this year that we actually let him do a little bit of carving. He did great. They helped clean the pumpkin out a little.

| Not a very good picture but it had a cute little mini white pumpkin in it's mouth with a scared face drawn on it. Jacks and Link loved it. |
My sister got some free tickets to Lagoon from work and since she already has a season pass she gave them to us. We went the last Saturday they were open so it was packed. It was still super fun though. I haven't been to Lagoon since Jr High and I had no idea how many things there were for little kids. My boys loved it. They had trick-or-treating for frightmares and tons of cute kid rides. They loved it! We left Harrison with my parents and just took Jacks and Link. Link was super tired towards the end so he got super grumpy but he's still talking about it so I guess he liked it. Their favorite ride was probably the stupidest ride there a little whale that just went around in circles.

Halloween this year was kind of stressful. Link was up the whole night the night before and then woke up at 6 again so he was just grumpy and only took a 10 minute nap. He was just a nightmare the entire day. He put himself to bed at 5 o'clock and took a 40 minute nap. When he woke up he wasn't any happier than before his nap and just refused to go trick-or-treating or put his costume on. We almost just didn't take him but I knew he'd feel bad about it the next day so we dragged him along. He was just a monster the whole time and only made it around our culdesac before he was done. When we stopped at our neighbors house their little girl asked to come with us so I took Jackson and our neighbor around a little more while Jordan took Link and Harrison home. Jackson loved it! He is at such a good age for it this year. It was fun for him to trick-or-treat with a friend.
